removal, but allow removal without the use of tools. The minimum inside clear dimensions shall be as specified in Table I. File and storage drawers shall be welded construction with double wall drawer fronts. The storage drawer body shall be constructed to accommodate partitions. Each storage drawer shall have a minimum of two (2) partitions. The storage drawers shall be suspended on telescoping ball bearing slides, rollers, or nylon glides. The slides, glides, or rollers shall promote smooth, quiet operation and prevent metal to metal contact between suspension members. The file drawers shall be on full progressive suspensions or telescoping ball bearing slides. The file drawer shall have a spring activated follower block which operates smoothly. Bumpers shall cushion drawer stops in both closed and extended positions. The center drawer shall contain a convenience tray and a locking mechanism controlling all drawers. Alternatively, the manufacturer may provide his commercial drawer locking subject to Contracting Officer approval.

Locks. The locks shall be of the disk or pin tumbler type, having not less than four disk or pin tumblers, and shall be operated by a grooved key changes. No one key shall open more than one lock on unit, up to a minimum of 125 units, consecutively produced. Duplicate keys shall be furnished for each lock.
Pulls(drawers). The drawer pulls shall be recessed. The finish shall be polished chrome plate on steel or die cast zinc, or polished anodized aluminum.
Attachment bracket. Each Type I, Size 1 and Size 4 desk shall be furnished with a bracket complying with Figure 1. Type I, Size 1 and 4 shall be capable of intermembering with desk attachments covered by Commercial Item Description A-A-2093, using the attachment bracket.
Finish. The finish shall be semi-gloss baked enamel. Colors
